Dubbed the Pulseboost HD Winterized, these two sneakers combine adidas’ energy returning, highly cushioned Boost technology with a nylon fabrication that prevents the wearer’s feet from getting wet. As a result, adidas breaks into the world of all-conditions running footwear, offering its minimalist sneaker with an updated, Winter-ready twist.
The Pulseboost HD sits lower to the ground than silhouettes similar to it — such as the UltraBOOST — which enables runners to stop and switch direction quickly and with ease. Another new feature is the artificial intelligence-developed Continental™ Adaptive Traxion outsole has been paired to the Boost sole unit, delivering maximum levels of grip on surfaces both wet and dry.
Rounding off the technical updates is the ballistic nylon upper, which features a warm lining and reflective details on the outside. The Three Stripes will be dropping two colorways, one in grey-and-pink and the other sporting a clean black-and-neon yellow look. Both pairs are set to release via adidas’ website and app on October 10.
