For Fall/Winter 2019, 1017 ALYX 9SM expanded on its sleek technical takes on classic footwear silhouettes with a striking take on the classic Chelsea Boot.
Maintaining the overall shape of the boot style, ALYX’s iteration is constructed of supple black leather with a one-piece slip design that plays with the lines conventionally found on side of the shoe’s ankle segment. The slip portion of the upper is held together with bungee-style cords that come fasted by a black anodized aluminum buckle. Elevating the take on the classic Chelsea Boot is an exaggerated Vibram sole defined by a chunky tread and aggressive sections at the heel and foot arch.
