Bohan Phoenix & MAKJ Recruit Vava for Hard-Hitting Single "Money Game"
Alongside a new music video.
Bicultural Chinese-American rapper Bohan Phoenix has joined forces with DJ and producer MAKJ, as well as China’s top female rapper Vava, for a new track entitled “Money Game,” aptly uniting the three artists from various parts of the globe. The new cut sees the global Chinese rap sensation doing what he does best, leveraging both East and West in his lyrical delivery by infusing both English and Mandarin within his lyrics. Vava, who flew to the top of China’s rap game after appearing on reality TV series, The Rap of China, equally showcases her prowess through a frenetic verse.
The beat weaves a sense of dance-enforced hip-hop, whereby MAKJ propels his sound and direction forth over the hard-slinging instrumental. The overarching emphasis of the track notes that “despite the risk of being hooked to the ‘Money Game,’ all three artists demonstrate [that] even in success you can stay true to yourself.” On top of the single, the three also dropped a music video featuring the two rappers, both of which riotously sling-out their sixteens.
