Sorority Sisters Slay in Trailer for Blumhouse's 'Black Christmas' Remake
A remake of the 1974 slasher classic.
Blumhouse and Universal Pictures released trailer for its remake of the 1974 proto-slasher Black Christmas, showcasing a campus killer hunting a group of Sorority Sisters during the holiday season. In the trailer above, we see characters Riley, Marty, Kris, and Jesse preparing to celebrate a series of Christmas parties as a black-masked killer begins picking the women off one by one.
However, Jason Blum‘s newly remade film will adapt the sisters to reflect today’s generation of women, meaning they won’t just be hapless victims to be killed. They are prepared to fight back. This iteration of Black Christmas is the second remake of the 1974 film, following its previous outing in 2006.
Check out the trailer above and catch Black Christmas when it arrives Friday the 13th this December.
In other news, Netflix’s new cop drama Criminal entirely takes place inside of interrogation rooms.
