UNIQLO UT Celebrates 'Sailor Moon Eternal' With 12-Piece T-Shirt Collection
It has been 25 years since the last Sailor Moon movie.
UNIQLO UT continues its release of T-shirts themed after iconic Japanese anime characters, this time releasing 12 bold new tees for the movie Sailor Moon Eternal.
Having been 25 years since the last Sailor Moon movie (Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie), UNIQLO reached out to Sailor Moon creator Naoko Takeuchi for some of the most nostalgic graphics fitting for such an occasion. Along with the Sailor Scouts, Luna the cat, and Tuxedo Mask making their way onto the various colored tees, large manga strip graphics of the characters can be found at the back of the shirts.
Fans of the Manga/Anime can find the collection launching over at UNIQLO on August 23, where each shirt will retail for $19.90 USD. Aside from a rough 2020 release estimate for next year, there’s still no exact release date for the two-part Sailor Moon Eternal film.
