Sergio Tacchini Gives Traditional Tennis Wear an Upgrade in SS20
Planning for a huge revival in North America and beyond.

After its initial inception in 1966, Sergio Tacchini has returned with its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Global creative director Dao-Yi Chow of Public School New York hopes to revive the brand in North America and beyond by elevating the tennis brand outside its traditional genre.
The collection features track suits, lightweight jackets and tennis shirts and shorts. While the apparel comes in navy blue and white, select pieces are released in bright blue, green and turquoise. The collection highlights comfort, whether for athletic or everyday wear. Bold stripes inform track jackets, with pieces worn interchangeably or as a set. Seen on Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z to tennis champions like Novak Djokovic, John McEnroe, Pete Sampras and Gabriela Sabatini, the legacy tennis brand wants to move beyond the strict confinements of traditional tennis apparel to become a staple style choice in everyday wear.
