HAVEN's Stone Island FW19 Editorial Hones in on Brand's Extensive R&D
The latest from Stone Island Shadow Project is also showcased.
Following HAVEN’s recent Spring/Summer 2019 editorial, the Canadian-based retailer has returned with a brand new lookbook that highlight’s Stone Island and its Acronym-infused Stone Island Shadow Project counterpart’s recent Fall/Winter 2019 collections.
Honing in on the Italian brand’s expertise on research and product testing, the editorial seeks to showcase the all-conditions garments and its elevated style, further focusing on the brands’ functionally-driven design. As is usual with Stone Island’s seasonal Fall/Winter ranges, layering is emphasized through various materials. Much of the highlighted pieces also incorporate inventive dyeing techniques, newfound textiles, and lightweight insulation, whereby Stone Island’s Lino Resinato Garment Dyed Hooded Down Parka and Nylon Metal Watro Ripstop Garment Dyed Vest shine. Moving to the latest from the more technically-aligned Stone Island Shadow Project, textiles made from natural and synthetic fibers take hold. Notable pieces here include the elongated Grid Nylon Garment Dyed Jacket and the Grid Nylon Garment Dyed Short Sleeve Jacket — both of which offers a metal-like sheen — as well as various Winter Cotton products that have been expertly crafted for maximum thermal qualities.
