PUMA Reimagines Its CELL Ultra OG in "White/Teal" and "Peacoat/Jaffa"
A ’90s silhouette built for the future.
After putting out its monochromatic nature-inspired LQD CELL Omega Density, PUMA has returned with its latest throwback models: the CELL Ultra OG in “White/Teal” and “Peacoat/Jaffa.” Over the years, PUMA’s CELL technology has gone through a myriad of updates since its initial release in 1998, enabling faster running, stronger strides and better cushioning; this particular model incorporates the most refined CELL midsole to date, complemented by a bevy of OG details.
The upper portion of the sneakers are dominated by breathable mesh fabrics accented by suede and smooth leather panels. Stamped with “PUMA CELL” branding, the tongue is covered with round tonal laces, looped through eyelet panels comprised of a mix of leather overlays. PUMA’s retro stripe logo is placed at the lateral sidewalls while thinly embroidered lines appear on the opposite sides. All of these details sit atop a firm midsole, complete with translucent CELL cushioning technology.
