Nike Unveils Newly Modified Kobe AD NXT for Enhanced Mobility
Blending Nike’s FastFit, QuadFit and REACT technologies into one.

Once again, Nike has raised the bar for progressive basketball shoes. Unveiled is the latest Nike Kobe AD NXT, complete with a design that places emphasis on speed and agility.
In line with Kobe Bryant‘s eagerness to enable players to get low on the courts without heavy compensation, the sneaker blends advanced technologies like Nike’s FastFit, QuadFit and REACT. The result is a new traction pattern that’s been optimized for indoor courts.
Coming with blacked-out uppers, the top of the sneaker features a textured velcro strap, complemented by Kobe-line insignia. The shoe is laceless and comes with a bright red strap at the forefoot that can be loosened up with the eject adjustment on the medial side. One distinctive element of the sneaker is its large translucent Swoosh, revealing a substantial portion of the inside technology. Other details like its mesh rear quarter and tonal heel panels round up the uppers. As a finishing note, the sneaker is given the essential REACT midsole, providing the wearer with a good balance of support and traction for fast breaks and sudden weight shifts.
The Nike Kobe AD NXT is expected to hit nike.com and select retailers on August 24.
