Gucci’s eccentric footwear run continues, this time around prompting a fusion of traditional loafers with recognizable hiking details. Dubbed the “Agrado” deck shoes, the new Pre-Fall 2019 release is built with a chunky sole and a pleated leather upper that’s strapped with hiking boot laces.
The tongue is featured in slate grey for a subtle contrast and then stamped with a Gucci emblem, while a grosgrain swatch with red and blue stripes brightens up the sides. Large metal D-rings call attention to the laces, which take on a red, cream and blue palette to match the design of the fabric swatch. Other details include topstitching throughout, a forest green collar and insole lining and a logo-debossed rubber sole that’s offered in red and yellow for a bold finish.
Gucci’s Agrado deck shoes are priced at £525 GBP (approximately $640 USD) and available now from MATCHESFASHION.com.
