BROCKHAMPTON Taps Deb Never & Ryan Beatty for New Single "NO HALO"
The collective’s fifth studio album ‘GINGER’ drops August 23.
BROCKHAMPTON has dropped off “NO HALO” featuring Deb Never and Ryan Beatty, the newest and most likely final single off their upcoming album GINGER. Much like its predecessors “I BEEN BORN AGAIN,” “IF YOU PRAY RIGHT” and “BOY BYE,” the visual is directed by Spencer Ford and follows the recurring surrealist theme, exhibiting familiar motifs such as the silver jumpsuit outfits and the reflective, almost extraterrestrial surroundings. “NO HALO” kicks things down a notch for the collective, posing for a more introspective outlook laid over a simple arrangement of an acoustic guitar riff and strong drum pattern. Reflecting on certain failures of their individual lives, the group touches on darker topics such as failed relationships and substance problems, repeating a chorus of “I’m sure I’ll find it” like a half-baked mantra.
