A couple weeks ago, THEY. linked up with Dillon Francis for a new joint offering known as “Til I Die.” Now, for the duo’s first non-collaborative release and first official single since the release of their Fireside EP, Drew Love and Dante Jones are reconnecting for “Stop Playin.” This new record from THEY. marks the beginning of a new chapter in the pairing’s career, who are on course to reveal a “larger, visionary body of work that will unfold throughout the year.”

“My favorite records were always the ones you could bump in the bedroom and in the whip. A lot of pent up sexual energy went into this record, let’s just say that,” THEY.’s Drew Love shares via an official statement.

“We’re kicking off a new era with this one,” THEY.’s other half, Dante Jones, explains. “We been in the studio putting the finishing our next project for a while now and it’s finally ready to go.”

You can listen to THEY.’s latest single “Stop Playin” above, and stay tuned for more from the Warner Bros. duo.

For more, revisit THEY. and Jessie Reyez’s collaborative single “Broken.”
