Art Comes First prepares for the upcoming season with its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, “Electric Church.” ACF draws inspiration from the six months of travel and research that took place to create the collection, and the people and cultures the brand encountered along the way.

“Electric Church” keeps with its classic black palette while including accents of bright yellow and blue. Textures of silk, denim, leather and suede play off each other, allowing colors and details to work in harmony. The added fringes, studs, embroidery and zippers show the collection’s attention to detail. From fitted shirts to loose jacket silhouettes, the experimentation with techniques is apparent, showcasing the use of lamination, flocking and waxing. Heat transfers of ACF graphics are applied on vintage tees, and studded bracelets and chunky chains top off the heavy metal looks. The result is an appearance of biker meets Tuareg tribesman.

The ACF experience focuses on spiritual growth, one which brings out emotions, feelings and ideas in people. “Electric Church” plays on the idea of the electric energy that inspires people to continually improve themselves and the way they act.
