Harking to the number 23 player’s iconic legacy, Nike releases the Air Jordan 1 “Obsidian” as an acknowledgment of Michael Jordan’s alma mater. Unlike a similar release from this past February, the drop trades patent leather details for a full leather upper. And it seems on StockX that the sneaker is causing quite a stir, as the average trading price is at 118.8% over its MSRP.

“Sail” makes its way throughout the footwear hitting the tongue, toebox and midsole. Contrasting the muted color, a set of tonal blues, one dark and the other light, accent the ancillary panels, outsole and Swoosh. Branding that has come to be known with the silhouette is positioned in typical fashion in a palette that cohesively brings together the color story.
