Yellow Days Delivers More Smooth Grooves for New Single "It's Real Love"
A new album might be on the way.
Back in October of last year, Yellow Days shared a music video for his 2018 single “How Can I Love You?” Now, for his second major release of 2019, the young, fast-rising musician is serving up a new single titled “It’s Real Love.”
“I really love writing sad music,” Van den Broek previously told Billboard, sharing some insight into his creative process.”It’s weird, I don’t know why. It’s just really good, I can’t explain it, but it’s just something that happens. It’s great.”
“The reason why I make music is to understand myself and the world around me,” Yellow Days added in an official press statement. “I just see music as something that is honest and pure. It’s all about feelings and truth and honesty … I can talk about my feelings ’til the sun goes down with my friends. I love to just assess my own human condition; why I act a certain way. That debate constantly goes on in my music.”
According to Yellow Days, the purpose of songs like “It’s Real Life” is to chronicle the experiences that come with youth.”It’s all about being young and having this overwhelming sense of emotion, this confusion, all heading towards an eventual goal of happiness. It’s all about the hope within,” he says.
