Sony has released an industry-leading and noise-canceling earbud model dubbed the WF-1000XM3. The model boasts a list of technical qualities, such as a 24-hour battery life with the noise-canceling mode on and 36-hours with it off.

Sony’s earbuds are aimed at travelers and feature amenities such as Quick Attention, which lowers the volume and lets more ambient noise in with a single tap. The earbuds are packed with sound-improving functions such as the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX, which upscales compressed and MP3 files to HD-quality levels. Sony also gave the earbuds a quick charge function, meaning 10 minutes of charging can supply up to 90 minutes of listening, as well as voice assistant capabilities and customizable touch controls.

The earbuds do not have a waterproof rating against sweat, nor will they stay in place when you go for a run, but Sony isn’t positioning these earbuds at runners. Instead, the WF-1000XM3 is a premium alternative to other Bluetooth earbuds available on the market, which is reflected in its $230 USD price point. Pre-order yours now from Sony and expect them to arrive by the end of next month.
