Nike Taps OG AM95 "Neon" For Upcoming Vapormax 2019 LX Release
Sporting the classic “Volt” hue.
Nike is dropping a Vapormax 2019 LX inspired by the Air Max 95 “Neon,” one of the Swoosh’s most iconic colorways to grace the silhouette.
The Vapormax 2019 LX utilizes a color scheme of “Atmosphere Grey/Black Thunder/Grey Volt” and sees an upper made from translucent TPE. Black accents are seen on the trim, tongue and heel, where the latter of which also sports a rubberized repeat logo print depicting the brand’s moniker and “AIR” branding.
“Volt Green” is blended with grey for a gradient fade on the underlaid midfoot cage, and appears in its fullest saturated hue for the lace hoops inspired by the OG AM95 colorway. Rounding off the Vapormax 2019 LX’s design is a black Swoosh, a black Air bubble sole unit and, most notably, a Vapormax-twist on the oval-shaped AM95 logo which is seen printed on the insoles.
