Nike Gives Its M2K Tekno Silhouette a Retro-Tinged "White/University Red" Update

Nike‘s M2K Tekno silhouette has seen a myriad of bold iterations this year, like the recent “Bordeaux” and “Midnight Navy” colorways. This time around, the footwear giant is offering up a monochromatic rendition of the silhouette, inflected with bold color accents – “White/University Red.”
Constructed with a mix of leather and mesh fabrics, panels of black and white appear throughout the uppers, with complementing hits of red. “Nike” branding is embroidered vertically over the mesh tongue accompanied by crisp white laces. Contrast stitching appears on the sides, lower forefoot and toe cap, while the main Swoosh is outlined in red. The chunky midsole comes decked with various geometric lines and shapes. Other details like subtle perforations at the toe box, a mini swoosh near the lower quarter heel and a pair of red ripstop eyelets round up the sneaker’s design.
