A Two-Toned 1955 Ferrari 375 MM Coupe Speciale by Ghia Heads to Auction
The “Salmon/Gunmetal Grey” sports car features a V12 engine.

A two-toned 1955 Ferrari 375 MM Coupe Speciale by Ghia is heading to the auction block later next month. The RM Sotheby’s Monterey Auction will be hosting the sale of this rare vintage sports car, which was custom-built back in the ’50s.
The Ferrari is finished in “Salmon/Gunmetal Grey” and is in pristine condition. It comes equipped with a 4.5-liter V12 engine paired to a four-speed transmission, delivering performance figures that are still impressive today. The V12 packs 335 BHP — and because the Ferrari is built from aluminum — it will give most of today’s sports cars a run for their money.
This particular model features all its original badges and showcases a beautifully worn leather interior, with natural patina on the wooden steering wheel and seats. Rounding off its retro aesthetic is a set of round analog dials, wire-spoke rims and a heavy dose of chrome detailing.
No word has been said on its price point, but expect it to be high. Take a look at the rare vintage Ferrari 375 MM Coupe Speciale by Ghia in the gallery above.
In case you missed it, take a look at this 1969 Ferrari 365 GTS Spider that is also heading to auction soon.
