Vintage car collectors will be happy to know that there’s currently a 1969 Ferrari 365 GTS Spider ready to be added to your collection on RM Sotheby’s. First introduced in 1966 as a gap-filler between its sports and luxury lines, the GTC and its convertible counterpart, the GTS was designed to bring together the best of both worlds.
Two years after its initial release, Ferrari upgraded the vehicle’s engine displacement to 4.4L, bringing its horsepower up to 320 accompanied with a torque output of 267 foot-pounds. With these upgrades, RM Sotheby’s 1969 GTS Spider is only one of 20 remaining in the world with this specific color scheme, and is the only one with script Pininfarina logos — the legendary Italian company responsible for designing its bodywork. With $500,000 USD recently spent on restorations, the car comes with complete documentation and even a period-correct Ferrari keychain.
For those interested, you can head over to RM Sotheby’s website to learn more about the bidding process.
Elsewhere in cars, Thermal Club — an all-inclusive private racing club — has opened in California.
