Medicom Toy Drops a Set of Vintage 'Hello Kitty' BE@RBRICKs
Taking it back to the ’70s and ’80s.
Medicom Toy continues its release of Sanrio’s highly-loveable Hello Kitty character. Coming as a set that sees a 100% along with a 400%-sized BE@RBRICK figure — standing 70mm and 280mm tall, respectively — the release gives you the choice of collecting either the 1970s version or and all-black version from the 1980s.
The design of Hello Kitty from the ’70s sees the anthropomorphic kitten in blue overalls with a red bow while the 1980s version comes in a monochromatic color scheme, where the overalls, bow, eyes and whiskers are all defined by white lines. Fans of Hello Kitty can find the BE@RBRICK figures over at CJ MART for a price of ¥12,960 JPY (approximately $120 USD).
