Seiko Prospex Taps BEAMS for Bright Orange Digital Fieldmaster
Inspired by emergency rescue colors.
With watches like the recent GT-R-inspired Grand Seiko x Nissan SBGC229 being produced, other labels have also made it onto Seiko‘s ever-expanding portfolio of collaborations – a limited edition BEAMS x Prospex Fieldmaster LOWERCASE has surfaced.
As one of the pioneering labels for bringing American fashion to Japan, BEAMS is drawing inspiration from the traditional emergency rescue colors. Clad in a bright orange palette, the “tuna can”-style silhouette comes with a tonal bezel detailed in white. The piece is equipped with a six-digit black LCD digital face to offset the bold color scheme and is wrapped with a 20-bar waterproof encasement. Complete with an orange band, the watch includes a metallic belt buckle to match the back plating – co-branding appears next to a unique number assigned from one to 500, denoting the limited edition release. Other details like the S802 solar caliber, backlight tap feature and dual time function round up the collaborative piece.
The BEAMS x Seiko Prospex Fieldmaster LOWERCASE Digital Watch is currently available on BEAMS’ website for approximately $260 USD, in a limited run of 500 pieces.
