Back in April, we saw leaked images of Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s much-anticipated Nike Zoom Freak 1 silhouette. The signature sneaker will be arriving soon in two distinctive colorways – “Black/White” and “Total Orange/Midnight Navy”

As a star player on the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, also known as the Greek Freak, has recently won MVP as he became the first player to ever finish in the top-20s in all major stats. It comes as no surprise that a sneaker deal has risen out of this amazing feat.

The Nike Zoom Freak 1 comes with a flexible mesh upper, offset by a giant backward Swoosh at the heel. Made with neoprene cushioning, the tongue is embroidered with a special logo, while “4” is placed at the back. The large Swoosh is placed over an extended panel that peaks at the lateral rears and levels at the midsole. On the “Total Orange/Midnight Navy” colorway, the bright upper is contrasted against a speckled Swoosh, placed atop gradients of blue and yellow. Those who prefer a more muted design can look to the “Black/White” colorway for a monochromatic rendition. As a finishing note, the silhouette is accented with icy gum bottoms that extend over the midsole at the forefoot and heel – “I AM MY FATHER’S LEGACY” is engraved on the outsole in reverence to Giannis’ late father.

Releasing on sneakersnstuff.com for $129 USD, the Nike Zoom Freak 1 “Black/White” will be available at 3 a.m. EST, July 1, while the “Total Orange/Midnight Navy” will drop at 7 a.m. EST, June 29.
