Sergio Ramos Shares First Trailer for His Upcoming Amazon Prime Documentary
Showcasing the highs and lows of the Spaniard for both his club and country.
Controversial football star Sergio Ramos is the latest player to receive his own documentary. Titled, El Corazon de Sergio Ramos or The Heart of Sergio Ramos, the Real Madrid defender shared the docu-series’ first trailer via his Twitter account.
Set to debut on Amazon Prime, the documentary will chronicle Ramos’ time during the 2018/19 season, showcasing the highs and lows of the Spaniard for both his club and country. In the clip Ramos can be heard saying, “The taste of defeat makes you appreciate what it takes to win. In football, it’s sacrifice, effort, time. The truth is, I find it really difficult being away from my family.” He continues, “It’s impossible to be on a winning streak your whole career. With all the criticism and pressure, the easiest thing to do would be to fall. But when you hit rock bottom, the only way is up.”
Along with sharing the trailer, Ramos posted the caption, “My show is coming to Prime Video Sport in September! It’s a never seen before look into my life. Stay tuned!”
Real Madrid’s 2018/19 season saw the club go through three different managers, lose 5-1 against a Lionel Messi-less Barcelona, and getting knocked out of the Champions League in the Round-of-16 after winning three consecutive championship titles.
The Heart of Sergio Ramos will kick off on Amazon Prime September 13 with eight-episodes.
