The 3M-Equipped Air Jordan 3 Tinker "Black/Cement Grey" Gets Official Release Date
Complete with “AIR” branding and black-on-black elephant print.

Following a tease of an upcoming Air Jordan 3 Tinker “Black/Cement Grey” back in May, Jordan Brand has now provided an official look and release date of the highly-anticipated sneaker.
The AJ3 was the first Jordan designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. This particular model, much like its “White/University Red” sibling, brings Tinker’s first sketch of the AJ3 to life thanks to its large heel clip featuring OG “NIKE AIR” branding. On the “Black/Cement Grey” iteration, Nike has added black-on-black elephant print on the toe and heel for an even more nostalgic feel.
The swoosh, tongue and eye stay are each treated to a coating of reflective 3M tooling, offering a contrast to the understated black, grey and white colorway. The Air Jordan 3 Tinker “Black/Cement Grey” sits atop a white and grey sole unit which is complete with a clear Air bubble. The Tinker Hatfield-designed piece is finished with a pair of gold eyelets, embroidered Jumpman branding on the tongue, etched Nike branding on the medial heel collar and decorative insoles, sporting a gold sketch of the AJ3 Tinker.
Take a look at the official Nike imagery above and pick up a pair of the Air Jordan 3 Tinker “Black/Cement Grey” on July 27 for $200 USD from Nike and select stockists worldwide.
In other news, the Nike “Moon Shoe” has broken the world auction record for a pair of sneakers.
