G FLIP's Much-Anticipated Debut Album 'About Us' Receives an Official Release Date

Hailing from Melbourne, Georgia Flipo, better known as G FLIP, has been gaining some notoriety for her distinctive indie-pop sound. The singer has announced some details of her forthcoming debut LP About Us while dropping the new single “Stupid.”
The upcoming album will feature ten tracks that all hover above an overarching narrative about relationships, heartbreak, reconciliation and moving on. With tracks like “Bring Me Home,” “Drink Too Much,” “I Am Not Afraid” and “About You” already under her belt, fans can expect a similar level of artistry from the talented multi-instrumentalist.
Ahead of the album, we get a taste of the project with the track “Stupid.” Backed by vibrant harmonies and soulful vocal deliveries, the track sees a slow to mid-tempo groove laced in crisp snares and strings that harness a scratchy bedroom sound. The single reveals some of the underlying struggles that exist in the relationship that G FLIP is describing, offering a glimpse of the kind of music we can look forward to on the rest of the album.
