Following in tradition, Forbes has just released its annual list of the world’s most valuable sports franchise for 2019.

Topping the list for a fourth time in a row is NFL team the Dallas Cowboys. Also dubbed as “America’s Team,” the Cowboys were bought by current owner Jerry Jones over 30 years ago for $150 million USD, and is now currently worth a whopping $5 billion USD. As the icing on the cake, media outlets have also noted that “nine of the 50 highest-rated sports TV broadcasts” were Dallas Cowboys games.

Additionally, the NFL had the most valuable franchises on the list seeing the New England Patriots placing No. 7 with a value of $3.81 billion USD, followed by New York Giants tied at No. 10 with $3.3 billion USD.

The MLB, NBA and the top soccer teams also took up spots on the list. Baseball’s New York Yankees came in second with a value of $4.6 billion USD, followed by two soccer clubs, Real Madrid at No. 3 with $4.24 billion USD and F.C. Barcelona at No. 4 with $4.02 billion USD. The first NBA team appearance rounds out the top five with the New York Knicks worth $4 billion USD.

Unfortunately no teams from the NHL, MLS or Formula One broke the Top 50. The New York Rangers were listed as the most valuable hockey team at No. 72 with $1.55 billion USD.

Check out the top 50 teams below and head over to Forbes for more details.
