Q Money Samples Three 6 Mafia for "Sippin’ (Patron)"
This is the first single off his forthcoming album.
TIG / Warner artist Q Money is back with a new song titled “Sippin’ (Patron).” The record, which is accompanied by a music video that is directed by LVTR Kevin, finds Q rapping over a sample of Three 6 Mafia’s iconic song “Sippin’ on Some Syrup.”
“Don’t make me lose my temper/And I don’t keep that dope in my home/N*gga came from serving that bone/I’m trying to right my wrong, and I hop in that coupe and I’m gone,” he raps. “Sippin’ (Patron)” is the first official single off his forthcoming project on July 5.
Q Money said, “I had so much fun shooting the video for “Sippin” and I’m excited for the world to see it.” Watch the video above.
Last April, Q Money was arrested in connection with the death of another rapper. Williams turned himself in “without incident” and was taken into custody at the DeKalb County Jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
