Popcaan Drops New Gritty Dancehall Track "Nah Run"
A summer-ready banger.
Off the heels of his Popcaan‘s recent video for the track “Firm and Strong,” the new OVO signee has returned with his latest banger dubbed “Nah Run.”
The song measures at just under three minutes and is imbued with heavy dancehall beats, courtesy of Dunw3ll Productions. Infused with vibrant synths and syncopated rhythms, the instrumentals provide the perfect backdrop for Popcaan’s melodic flows. “Nah Run” comes as the second song off of Charge Up Riddim, a musical compilation featuring other artists like Masicka, Quada and Ding Dong. Though Popcaan has been known for putting out more lyrical and conscious tunes in his recent career, this new track is a refreshing departure from his familiar styles and explores more of his darker side, harkening back to the music he made in his earlier days.
