Amuro and Hello Kitty Come Under Attack in New 'Gundam vs. Hello Kitty' Trailer

It wasn’t an April’s Fools joke — a new trailer for Gundam vs. Hello Kitty, the crossover event celebrating the 40th and 45th anniversary of both franchises, has surfaced.

Sanrio is celebrating the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise is grand fashion, with numerous series and collaborations releasing this year, and this Hello Kitty event is among them. The footage above showcases an intense stare-down between Amuro Ray’s RX-78-2 and a giant Hello Kitty mecha. The trailer has yet to be translated but the two exchange pleasantries then come under attack by the Zeon forces.
