'Gundam' & 'Hello Kitty' Clash in Space to Celebrate Respective Anniversaries
Commemorating 40 and 45 years of the iconic franchises.
To celebrate their respective 40 and 45 year anniversaries, Mobile Suit Gundam and Hello Kitty are coming together for a highly unexpected cross-over.
Kicking off with a special animated short, Haro appears on Hello Kitty’s TV show the iconic cat Amuro Ray piloting the RX-78-2 during a battle in space. Moved to tears, Sanrio’s flagship character somehow makes her way into space to confront Ray. Along with the interesting short, Bandai and Sanrio have launched a Gundam vs Hello Kitty website, where fans can learn more about the impending clash between the icons.
