atmos Japan Opens Dave White Exhibition & Drops Exclusive Endangered Species Collab
Drawing upon the artist’s previous works.
Contemporary British artist Dave White has been enlisted by atmos to rework the Japanese imprint’s roster of apparel and lifestyle goods alongside a pop-up exhibition.
The exclusive capsule collection features bespoke embroidered Dave White x atmos logo T-shirts that encompass abstract works from the artist’s original paintings. Alongside the embroidered T-shirts is a V-neck short sleeve jersey, a box logo T-shirt, a pair of shorts, three nylon tote bags, a cap and a selection of water bottles.
White is committed to promoting environmental issues and endangered species, so has adorned the collaborative atmos pieces with tigers and safari prints. The exhibition continues this theme and sees a series of rare artist proof editions and 1-of-1 prints featuring 24-carat gold leaf and diamond dust.
The exhibition is on display at atmos’ Sendagaya, Tokyo flagship from July 13 and is on for four weeks. The capsule collection is only available in Japan, which you can find out more about on the atmos website.
