With another week, we have another installment of our product drops series this time marked by a host of heavyweight collaborations. Leading the list is another team up from Daidō Moriyama and WACKO MARIA, 10 Corso Como‘s Summer-ready ADER Error collaboration and the latest in Helmut Lang‘s ongoing artist collaborations series.
Elsewhere Dover Street Market has brought Stüssy and Carhartt WIP together for two location specific releases, HUMAN MADE and STUDIO SEVEN crafted a capsule and BAPE tapped SUPER by RETROSUPERFUTURE for some camo marked sunglasses. But Medicom Toy‘s commemorative collaborations for its annual exhibition and YSTRDY’S TMRRW Fall/Winter 2019 collection are the major drops that round up this week’s product drops.
Key items this week include the Stüssy x Carhartt WIP bib overall, STUDIO SEVEN x HUMAN MADE Yokosuka short-sleeve button-up and BAPE x SUPER by RETROSUPERFUTURE Flat Top sunglasses.
Daidō Moriyama x WACKO MARIA Summer 2019 Capsule
Continuing their collaborative relationship, Daidō Moriyama and WACKO MARIA have come together once again on another collaborative capsule. This time around, the special range is comprised of minimalist layering pieces elevated by Moriyama’s signature stark photography.
Altogether the six white or black heavyweight crewneck sweaters and T-shirts emphasize Moriyama’s suggestive artwork. Photographs selected for the capsule include shots of palm trees on a beach to flyers for call girls and sexually-charged films. One print in particular showcases a neon sign for nudes (written in Japanese Katakana), while another displays a picture of a presenter sitting in front of a wall of traditional art.

10 Corso Como x ADER Error Summer Capsule
Lauded concept store 10 Corso Como and Seoul-based streetwear label ADER Error recently launched a capsule for Summer 2019. Maintaining a street leaning, the assortment features ponchos, hoodies, graphic T-shirts and accessories done in ADER Error’s gender-neutral aesthetic.
The neutral theme is helped by the grey, black and blue color palette and simplistic graphics used on crewneck sweatshirts, oversized T-shirts and casual trousers. Rounding up the Summer-ready selection are printed shopping bags available in grey, white and yellow marked with collaborative emblems, caps, socks and phone cases.

Josephine Meckseper x Helmut Lang Capsule
Back with the latest installment of its ongoing artist collaborations series, Helmut Lang has tapped multimedia artist Josephine Meckseper for a selection of hand-painted pieces, referencing the brand’s three-striped trucker jacket from the ’90s.
Meckseper has reinterpreted the original 1997 design of the trucker, using a screen-printing technique to give the striped layout a three-dimensional effect. The unique graphic detail has also been applied on the front of a T-shirt and on the cuffs of a pair of matching jeans.
