Jordan Brand is set to launch a Michigan Wolverines-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 5. Much like past “Michigan” Jordan model releases, this AJ5 sees the same hues of Amarillo with College Navy, except the colors are reversed as Amarillo makes up the majority of the uppers.
As this is an unofficial Michigan colorway, the famous “M” logo has been removed from the lateral side of the heel, but in place are a number of other new details. A tonal Jumpman logo can be found at the tongue, while “INSPIRE” is written on the underside of the tongue, and a Jordan team jock tab replaces the customary Jumpman at the heel. This AJ5 is further elevated by use of premium materials for the uppers, all contrasted with a speckled midsole and icy-blue outsole bottom.
Look for the Michigan Wolverines-inspired Air Jordan 5 to drop on nike.com this July 6 at 10:00 PM EST for $225 USD.
