As a follow up to the Reebok‘s New York City event that celebrated the Club C silhouette, the British footwear label is returning with more throwback sneakers to grace the slate – the Reebok Classic Leather 1.0.
Lined with soft cotton collar, supple leather runs through the uppers overlaid atop suede and mesh panels. Embroidered at the top is Reebok’s logo, while a small ripstop ribbon is placed near the laces. Smooth nylon is placed at the heel, underneath the pull tab. At the toe box are crescent-shaped strips framed by subtle perforations around the forefoot. Other details of the sneaker come in the form of textured mesh around the sidewalls, underlay Reebok stripes as well as a branded tongue and midsole. As a finishing note, a two-toned gum rubber treads the outsole, bringing back a vintage design element from the original 1983 model.
The Reebok Classic Leather 1.0. is currently available at reebok.com, coming in the colorways “True Grey 7/Black,” “Chalk/Skull Grey” and “White/Regal Purple” for $80 USD.
