Dubbed “together,” the collection reveals that imperfection can be perfection highlighting the unfinished expressions in the process of creation that is usually unseen by consumers. Designer Hiromichi Ochiai utilized a simple color palette of solid black, white and indigo accented by transparent materials and unique draping. Jackets, shirts and pants are crafted in a manner that skews the traditional tailoring techniques and silhouettes.
FACETASM also collaborated with jeans mainstay Levi’s on a capsule collection focused on the denim brand’s iconic 501, the trucker jacket and western shirt. Titled “MUTATION,” the 15 piece unisex range is done in full indigo and incorporates the larger undone aesthetic of the seasonal collection. FACETASM signature “WIDE&SLIM” patterning style has been used to create the capsule leading TYPE I and TYPE III trucker jackets which both express interesting oversized silhouettes that resemble classic M65 and biker jackets. The FACETASM x Levi’s “MUTATION” capsule is set to be released globally February 2020.
