Continuing with its Planet of the Apes-themed BE@RBRICKs, Medicom Toy has followed up its previous Dr. Zira and Cornelius release with new “Soldier Ape” and General Ursus 100%, 400% and 1000% iterations.

General Ursus, the main antagonist in the original trilogy’s second film, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, is displayed donning his signature military-attire, which features metal-emblazoned armor and a leather-based helmet, with various maroon-colored clothing found throughout. The “Soldier Ape” stays equally true to the depiction on-screen, taking on a similar palette to that of Ursus, with chest armor contrasted by maroon shirting and pants, hand wraps, and a tan pouch that runs across the armor.

You can view both the “Soldier Ape” and General Ursus BE@BRICKs above. If you’re interested in picking up your own, head over to Medicom Toy’s Yahoo JP storefront where they are currently retailing for ¥3,456 JPY for the 100% and 400% set (approximately $32 USD) and ¥48,600 JPY for the 1000% (approximately $449 USD).
