Kanye West's New Single "Brothers" Previewed in BET's 'Tales' Trailer
The original track also inspired an episode.
As fans patiently wait for YANDHI to arrive, (an album that has been delayed twice already), a new Kanye West single was previewed in BET‘s trailer for Tales, helping to tide them over for now.
The new track titled “Brothers” was created alongside Charlie Wilson and is currently set to make its official debut on July 2 when the anthology’s second season returns to BET. Additionally, the original song inspired the episode and was co-produced by Tales‘ show creator Irv “Gotti” Lorenzo. The single will also feature on the series’ soundtrack. “We’ll be brothers forever / What happens to one of us, happens to us together / And we’ll be brothers forever,” Kanye sings on the new track. Check out a snippet of “Brothers” in the trailer posted above.
“I am beyond excited for the return of Tales. Producing this new record with my production partner Seven and working with Kanye for a song exclusively for the Tales series, has been one of the highlights of my music and TV career,” Irv Gotti told People about the collaboration. “I did it for my hip-hop culture. I wanted to give the fans something to listen to and enjoy as well as visually enjoy, and “Brothers,” the song in conjunction with this global TV premiere is precisely that moment. Tales is back!!”
“Brothers” is West’s first solo project in a year after he released his album ‘Ye in back in June of 2018 and the single “I Love It” with Lil Pump in September of that year. In terms of when YANDHI will release, no solid dates have been shared as of yet. Keep it locked here for more details when they surface.
In related news, Kim Kardashian recently shared an intimate photo of Son Psalm Ye Kardashian-West.
It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding.
