Take Another Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Air Jordan 1 Retro High

Fashion house COMME des GARÇONS is linking up with Jordan Brand for an avant-garde take on the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High silhouette. Offered in tonal variations of black and white, this Fall/Winter 2019 piece pays homage to the ubiquitous biker culture with a matching extended tongue and cross-strap for a redesigned motorcycle boot look. Metallic embellishments hang as both design and hardware, acting as the iteration’s only contrasting pop of color. While the Air Jordan 1’s typical branding details can be found on the panels, ankle flaps and heels, CDG and Jordan Brand top it off with a joint Jumpman and COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS emblem on the tongue for a luxurious finish.
