Parra & Case Studyo to Debut New 'Tomato Chair' at VOLTA 2019
Featuring the Dutch artist’s signature blue, red, and white tones.
Acclaimed artist Parra and contemporary art platform Case Studyo will debut an all-new design of the Tomato Chair at VOLTA 2019 in Basel, Switzerland. Running concurrently with Art Basel 2019, the festival will gather international galleries that represent emerging to established creatives.
Among those galleries is Joshua Liner Gallery which will present the Tomato Chair at its A11 booth. The art-inclined furniture item measures 120 x 120 x 90 centimeters, portraying Parra’s humanoid Tomato character in red, blue, and white tones.
