Chris Hemsworth Shares Clip of Oversized Thor Singing NIN's "Hurt"
The Johnny Cash cover.
With Men in Black: International hitting theaters, Chris Hemsworth paid Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show a visit to promote his new movie, and of course, the show’s host asked Thor for some behind-the-scenes footage of the hugely successful Avengers: Endgame. He didn’t disappoint, unveiling a never-shown-before clip of himself as an oversized Thor singing Johnny Cash‘s cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails. “This is a world first,” the Australian actor said. “No one’s seen this before. I didn’t even know if I was ever going to show it.”
Aside from the hilarious video, Hemsworth also joked about his unconventional portrayal of the God of Thunder and the effect it has had on the audience: “I got an email from Kevin Smith and he said other middle-aged white men are very happy for that new superhero and it’s like, cool, happy to help,” he says.
Men in Black: International came out June 13 stateside and is currently available at theatres across the country.
