Carnival & ASICS Team up on a Limited Edition GEL-DS Trainer OG "Muay Thai"
An ode to Thailand’s national sport.
ASICS has linked up with Bangkok-based sneaker boutique Carnival to offer the GEL-DS Trainer OG “Muay Thai.” Taking design cues from Thailand’s national sport, the collaborative sneaker is crafted with an off-white mesh base and suede overlays on the mudguard, quarter panel and heel counter. Mismatched hues of red and blue can be found on the heel tabs and leather ASICS Tiger stripes, elevated by regal gold detailing and various vintage branding elements. Additional hits of color can be found on the eyestays and curved outsole, tied together with white laces for a clean finish.
The Carnival x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer OG “Muay Thai” drops July 27 at select retailers like afew-store.com for approximately $150 USD.
