Tyler, The Creator Hits Tracee Ellis Ross' Talk Show in "EARFQUAKE" Music Video
The ‘Igor’ standout receives an accompanying visual.
After spontaneously dropping the half-minute “a boy is a gun” teaser, Tyler, The Creator launched IGOR on all streaming platforms today. Much can — and has been — said about the record’s reflection of Tyler‘s ever-evolving musicianship, but before anyone can get too cozy with the record, the GOLF le FLEUR* designer has already dropped a full-length music video for standout track “EARFQUAKE.”
Tracee Ellis Ross and Tyler both rock bowl cuts in the four-and-a-half-minute clip, as Tyler takes the stage of Ross’ talk show to perform his new track. After some light banter and a fire safety warning, Tyler and his shirtless suit jump into “EARFQUAKE.” After a spinning piano sets the stage aflame, Tyler is left to weather the inferno until he collapses, soon replaced by a firefighter once again played by Tyler, who finishes out the song even with the cameraman taking a dive.
