The song is from the artist’s latest EP, ‘Friends.’
Rising Mexican-American singer Omar Apollo is quietly making his mark, dropping his latest EP,Friends, last month and simultaneously announcing a string of North American tour dates. The musician has now shared an official music video to accompany his “So Good” track off of the album, channeling disco vibes throughout to match his soulful artistry.
Directed by Kevin Lombardo, the visuals see 21-year-old Apollo as the frontman of a modern disco band, serenading the crowd with his pop-meets-jazz-meets-funk sound. The music video marks the third release from his Friends project, following behind flicks for the songs “Ashamed” and “Trouble.”
Along with his current run of shows in North America, Apollo also has plans for a European circuit beginning in Oslo, Norway in June. He’ll wrap things up back in the U.S. by hitting the stage at the 2019 Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
