Here Are Tyler, the Creator & DJ Khaled's First Week Projections
It’s ‘IGOR’ vs. ‘Father of Asahd’ for No. 1.
Tyler, the Creator’s IGOR and DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd may have dropped on the same day, but only one record is set to top the Billboard 200 charts.
According to HITS Daily Double, IGOR is expected to rake in 145,000-170,000 album equivalent units with 45,000-65,000 pure sales, effectively landing Tyler his first No. 1 album. If he surpasses the projected number, his sixth album will have a better first week than 2017’s Flower Boy and 2015’s Cherry Bomb combined. Meanwhile, DJ Khaled’s star-fueled Father of Asahd is anticipated to land at No. 2 with 110,000-135,000 album equivalent units.
