Watch the Eerie Trailer for the Upcoming Horror Film 'The Lodge'
Helmed by the director duo behind 2014’s ‘Goodnight Mommy.’
After receiving stellar reviews during its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, NEON has shared a new trailer for its horror film The Lodge.
Starring Mad Max: Fury Road’s Riley Keough, The Hobbit’s Richard Armitage, IT’s Jaeden Martell, Totem’s Lia McHugh and the illustrious Alicia Silverstone, The Lodge is the brainchild of Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz, the director duo behind the beloved 2014 hit Goodnight Mommy.
Their latest flick follows Grace (Keough) and her attempt to become the new mother figure of her much-older boyfriend’s two children, Aidan (Martell) and Mia (McHugh), after losing their biological mom Laura (Silverstone) to suicide. The family’s attempt to bond gets cut short after Richard (Armitage) is forced to go back to the city for work, and the remaining three shortly find themselves snowed in a hidden ski lodge. As the kids uncover grisly details about Grace’s past, strange things begin to take place in the lodge, signaling that her past may not be so far behind.
