Once again, PUMA is lacing retro style with modern features with the release of the LQD CELL Origin. The style is the latest addition to the CELL family, which harkens back to the ’90s with its eponymous running technology and high top silhouette. The collection of ultra comfortable footwear boasts the brand’s design-forward old school technology, updated for even more stable cushioning.
The LQD CELL Origin is notable for far more than its inner workings. A futuristic touch is added to the retro silhouette by way of an extended tongue structure. A yellow and transparent blue heel piece creates a striking design detail that complements the knit upper and blue and yellow color story. As for its namesake tech, that plays out in the form of hexagonal cells that work together with ProFoam to create a soft yet sturdy feel for a supported workout.
