adidas Skateboarding is honoring the late New York skateboarder and Kids actor Harold Hunter in its 13th annual Harold Hunter Day Weekend. The program will host New York’s skating community while delivering a variety of panel discussions, skate jams and a Max Fish crew Skate Night NYC party.

adidas Skateboarding and The Harold Hunter Foundation (HHF) will work alongside the likes of HUF and G-Shock in order to raise funds for the NY-based charity. Friends of HHF and adidas Skateboarding will be hosting an invite-only panel discussion featuring industry veterans will discuss the ins and outs of working in the skateboarding industry. The panel is exclusive to amateur skaters competing in the HHF Wildcard Contest division of Boardr Am and participants of the HHF Legacy program.

The HHF program will also showcase an amateur skate contest drawing skaters from around the world. This series of events will crown the champion of Boardr Am and the HHF Wildcard division, who will then receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the finals at the Empire Open contest in Montreal, Canada. HHF will offer this opportunity to 20 local skaters in the HHF Wildcard division.

Rounding off the weekend is the aforementioned HHF x Max Fish Skate Night NYC party and an all-ages skate jam. The jam, which takes place on June 2, will feature a pop-up “Best Trick” contest on custom-built obstacles in the LES Skatepark with cash prizes, a live DJ, and a product toss. adidas Skateboarding will then take to some of New York’s most iconic skate scenes, allowing skateboarders to showcase their skills.

Take a look at the entire program, which begins on May 30, on the HHF site and keep an eye out for updates on the HHF Instagram feed for information on how you can get involved for the charitable weekend.
