Heron Arts gallery is currently hosting Okuda San Miguel’s first-ever solo exhibition in San Francisco, California.

Curated by the internationally-acclaimed Spanish artist, the presentation entitled “Metamorphosis” features a vast array of original paintings and sculptures. Okuda’s signature abstract forms of human-like subjects and creatures are set against psychedelic landscapes across the works. Moreover, collaborative pieces are also on display with the artist teaming up with Sergio Garcia, Nychos, Bordalo, and more leading artists on select pieces. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a large-scale sculpture entitled Exploding Head that stands roughly 16 feet tall.
