Nike's Auto-Lacing HyperAdapt Surfaces in MAG Colorway for the Basketball Court
Thanks to A’ja Wilson of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces for the tease.
News of Nike looking to release more of its auto-lacing HyperAdapt shoes came late March. Prior to that, fans also got the full reveal of the HyperAdapt BB — The Swoosh’s basketball version of the technically-advanced sneaker. Initially, a black colorway was made available with a “Dark Grey” iteration that soon followed, but now, it looks like the hoops-ready model is getting a familiar tweak.
A’ja Wilson of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces just teased a MAG colorway design of the BBs. As a refresher, the MAG was the shoe released by Nike that was seen in the movie Back to the Future II with Michael J. Fox. Needless to say, the design of the MAG was the inspiration for the mega footwear brand’s foray into auto-lacing kicks and we now see the BB in the familiar grey, blue speckles and red, yellow, green dots of that original.
The shoe in this “Wolf Grey” colorway will retail for $350 USD and will be available on May 29 10 AM.
In other footwear news, WACKO MARIA and Suicoke just reunited to release some corduroy slippers.
